AMAZON SET TO ACCEPT BITCOIN  AND OTHER TOKENS AS MEANS OF PAYMENT

Amazon could start accepting bitcoin as a means of payment from their respective customers before the end of 2022, this was confirmed by an insider.

The internet and people in the crypto space have been given topics to talk about over the weekend after a job advertisement was published that a cryptocurrency and a blockchain expert was needed.

This vacancy clearly indicated that the company is already looking  towards the crypto path and already considering the move of opting into making transactions, and accepting payments for good and services as the vacancy clearly states, “expertise in blockchain, distributed ledger, central bank digital currencies and cryptocurrency”

We sure know this shouldn’t be difficult for anyone to decipher where amazon is heading towards as regards this vacancy and role which they put out. The plan supersedes just bringing a crypto educated person on board to check the feasibility of the crypto idea.

“This isn’t about just running through or seeing how we can set up cryptocurrency as a means of payment in the future. This is a plan to go full crypto and adopt it as a part of our plan. We hope to make it become a major and important part of how this company(Amazon) shall be operated” According to the Insider.

“The plan is to begin by accepting bitcoin as a means of transaction for the company. This Is the first stage of the many plans for their crypto journey as a company. This initiative and idea is said to have been tabled by Jeff Bezos”

The insider also said that once the company secures a means and safer way of making bitcoin become a channel in which payments are made to them, they shall in no short time begin to accept and roll out other plans of accepting other Alt coins like Cardano, bitcoin cash and many others.
