Today, the American Multi cinema (AMC) is finally realising her objective of integrating crypto as a means of purchasing movie tickets by its customers by the end of this year. As the idea of E-gift cards has already been implemented.
The CEO of AMC, Adam Aron made it known to the public on Tuesday, that the business has made it officially possible for its users and customers to be able to purchase e-gift cards from its official website, mobile application and of course, it’s theatres.
AMC achieved this feat and made it possible for its consumers to be able to purchase E-gift cards like bitcoin and Ethereum on various platforms by partnering with crypto Tech powerhouse, Bitpay. This allows the users to buy a total of $200 worth of electronic gift cards.
“We shall issue DOGE coin to the many other cryptos which we will be accepting as a means of payment for movie tickets at our theatres by the end of this year 2021,” This was a hint given to us by the CEO.
Further letting us know that it’s twitter customers have also kept asking and demanding that Dogecoin be accepted by the firm. This definitely has made them consider the option of integrating the coin into its platform.
This crypto integration movement has been a year end goal which the AMC had set out to achieve before now.
