Ukraine Willing to Accept Crypto Payments via Impending Bill

 

The Ukrainian government propose a new cryptocurrency related bill to allow payment via bitcoin and other crypto assets despite not recognizing crypto as a legal tender in the country, the drafted bill will only allow payments via crypto in the country not constituting as a legal tender but will only allow for purchases of Goods and services.

Mr. Oleksandr Bornyakor the deputy minister of Digital transformation in the country believes that the adoption of cryptocurrency for payment in the country will be pretty much legal and also look to enhance crypto to fiat conversions via exchanges.

The drafted bill will legalize crypto trading and reporting in the country and also demand local payment system to add crypto to fiat conversions to their services. The Bill which was drafted in June by the Minister of Digital transformation back in June, a local bank made her plans quite clear to launch a debit card that feature Bitcoin trading as part of her services too.

The President of Ukraine just passed a digital related bill recently, ordering the Central bank in Ukraine to issue their own digital currency called the digital Hryvnia.
The recent adoption of Cryptocurrency in various country is growing rapidly after El Salvador recently passed a bill to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender, and many more South American countries are set to propose a cryptocurrency related bill; such as Colombia, Argentina Paraguay and many more, the many Financial regulators see Bitcoin as the future of the Financial sector with the Blockchain technology which the offer.
